Hello,

I have brought a treat— The Queen is free until Monday. It’s a great chance to download a copy. As I’ve said before, I’m trying to stay on top of having free book promos going on a regular basis. I think it’s fun to give them away, and I never want anyone who might want to read my books to skip them due to lack of funds. So if that’s something that interests you, keep an ear to the ground for those recurrent announcements.

I continue to work on getting the third book in my After Dark post-apocalyptic romance series out. If you’ve been enjoying the series so far, I think you’ll be happy with this installment. Whenever I’m working on a new story, I like to think about which of my past releases it’s most similar to. As far as this one goes, I’m leaning towards Teaching the Beast. Which, based on the numbers, at least some of you have read and enjoyed, certainly (“enjoyed” is perhaps doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence, but we won’t worry about that). Extremely brief snippet for a treat:

It should scare her. She was alone with him, and he could hurt her if he wanted to. She wouldn’t be able to stop him.

But she wasn’t scared. She wanted it. All of it.

I will leave you to The Queen. If you’d like to hear from me more often, I would suggest following me on Bluesky, @[email protected]. I would not necessarily recommend this as I am not good at posting on any platform, and I think it would be unpleasant for you. However, I do post occasional snippets from books I’m working on, very lazy and casual publishing-related updates, etc.

Take care and stay safe,

Brigid
